Ulrike Romberg

is a singer (lyric soprano), voice coach and choir director living in Berlin.

She regularly performs as a soloist (see Repertoire) as well as, on occasion, as a professional support for choirs.

Ulrike directs the Junger Chor Friedrichshain; she also worked as voice coach for 4 years at Pro Musica Chor Berlin.

She regularly performs themed Lieder recitals from different eras with pianist and musicologist Felix Kruse.

Next to her classical voice training with LEIGH HAMILTON and FRIEDERIKE HARMSEN, she also has a degree in "French studies" from Freie Universität Berlin.

Ulrike speaks excellent French and English (having lived in the USA for 6 months) and has, for both of these languages, worked on translations and acted as language coach in different ensembles. She also speaks fluent Spanish and knows elementary Italian.
